We are looking for a senior change and transformation manager to join the Dorset Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) to influence, drive and deliver benefits and improved outcomes enabled through digital technology.
This is a key role to embed digital capabilities, facilitate change and continually improve ways of working to deliver transformation of services. The individual will join a progressive, fast paced and exciting programme of work to deliver the national maternity transformation programme deliverables and actions, as well as delivering local strategy aligning with the Dorset’s Integrated Care Board.
This is a fixed term post for 2 years and is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and positive individual with a genuine passion for transformation and improving services to achieve better outcomes for women, babies and their families. The successful candidate will need to have a sound understanding of national and local policy development and future needs to influence strategic direction working with appropriate heads of service and stakeholders. The role will support the different organisations within the Dorset LMNS to achieve the programme objectives through excellent programme and project management skills.

The role will provide senior change leadership and process redesign expertise to influence, drive and deliver benefits and outcomes enabled by digital capabilities. This is a key role to support delivery of Dorset Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems (LMNSs) overall strategic direction for local transformation.
The post holder will lead the transformation activities across Dorset LMNS services to realise the benefits of the maternity digital programme. The post holder will manage the realisation of programme benefits, help trusts embed the digital capabilities into maternity business as usual and facilitate business change across the health and social care system to exploit these digital capabilities. This key role raises the programme from delivering a Pan Dorset I.T system, to enabling transformation of LMNS services as envisioned in the national Maternity Transformation Programme.
The post holder will support the LMNS with the embedding of processes, policies and procedures across the System Partners and seek to continually improve the ways of working of Digital in the NHS in Dorset, across the system and in all NHS organisations.
Working closely with the Chief Information Officers and leadership teams across the System, to play a crucial role in improving and transforming services to reduce the burden on clinical time by using a digital first approach.
The post holder will professionally lead a programme of complex service improvement initiatives through a high degree of motivational skill, working closely with colleagues at all levels across Dorset, clinical and non-clinical.
Expert in change management, the external and internal environments. They must be able to encourage and enthuse others to adopt and adapt to change at many levels, from local department improvements to broad implementation of national initiatives and directives.
