In September 2023, Public Health Dorset launched a Swap 2 Stop campaign to help residents to quit smoking, encouraging adults who smoke to switch from smoking to vaping, which is much less harmful to health.
Teachers in Dorset have been supporting students with learning disabilities to learn about the importance of health checks helping young people to live independently.
In March 2024, a new neurodiversity website was launched, providing local people with accessible, credible information to support people of all ages with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly those living with autism and ADHD.
