Lizzie Kingsbury from Help & Care gave an overview of the help available for GP practices in Dorset to support Armed Forces personnel, Veterans and their families. She introduced her role as an Armed Forces Social Prescribing Link Worker, how the Demonstrator Project could benefit practices and the Armed Forces/Veteran community along with giving real life examples of people making the transition from the Armed Forces and the impact it has on them and their families.

Tracy Rowland from Carers Support Dorset introduced the organisation and explained how they can help identify and support carers in the Armed Forces & Veterans community and how PPGs and GP practices can help with this.
