It was another successful night for local healthcare partners as the HSJ Partnership Awards honoured organisations that have shown outstanding collaboration with other NHS partners.

This year there were 141 projects, 21 of them winners and 18 highly commended. The task of deciding the best of the best was left to 90 judges, who reached their decisions over a two-stage process. Categories this year included environmental sustainability, elective care recovery, addressing health inequalities, primary care, procurement, not for profit, mental health, pharmaceutical, cancer outcomes, clinical safety and staffing solutions.

The Dorset Health Village was announced winner of the Estates Optimisation Project of the Year, with Dorset services being highly recommended in two other categories – Best Elective Care Recovery Initiative and Contribution to Clinical Redesign.
