Dr Forbes Watson is a GP Principal in Lyme Regis and the Chair of the Dorset GP Alliance. Trained at the University of Glasgow, he worked in the United Kingdom and Australia before moving to Dorset in 1997. Forbes has over 25 years as a GP working in a high performing practice and continues to directly deliver care for several sessions per week. With over 20 years’ experience as a Chair and Board member, having previously been the Chair of the Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group and Vice Chair of the Dorset Health & Wellbeing Board, Forbes has extensive clinical and system level experience and will ensure that the voice of general practice is not just heard but is at the forefront of how decisions are made in the Dorset ICS.
