The Thrive event is back again at the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe for one day only, offering people the opportunity to explore employment and volunteering opportunities and look after their health and wellbeing, all under one roof.
The free event is being held at the Auger Collective (former Peacocks store) in the Sovereign Centre on Thursday 29 January from 10am – 6pm.
No registration is required – just show up on the day!
Hosted by the Digital Skills Hub, in partnership with BCP Council and funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the event builds on the impact of last year’s Thrive programme by connecting people with practical opportunities, advice, and support that makes a real difference to everyday life.
Event highlights include:
- FREE interactive workshops throughout the day including CV writing and interview skills
- Meet local employers and find out about current vacancies with potential live interviews taking place on the day
- FREE return bus ticket available (please speak to event organisers when you arrive)
- Advice on education, health and wellbeing plus signposting to a range of organisations offering support and guidance
- FREE blood pressure checks will be available
- FREE COVID-19 and flu vaccinations for eligible people
