Jenni Douglas-Todd will be stepping down from her role as Dorset’s Integrated Care Board Chair.
Previously Chair of Dorset’s Integrated Care System, Jenni took up the role as Chair of the Integrated Care Board when it formed in July 2022.
Jenni’s wealth of experience in the public sector, policy and strategy have been invaluable to the board. She is leaving to focus on her new role as Chair of Isle of Wight NHS Trust (IWT) and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) alongside her role as Chair of University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHSFT).
Jenni said: “It has been a privilege to have been involved right from the start of Integrated Care Boards. I have seen first-hand just how committed Dorset’s health and care services are in working together.
“Dorset has been on a great journey, and I am looking forward to watching how they will progress in the future.”
Dorset ICB Chief Executive Patricia Miller OBE said:
“I would like to thank Jenni for her dedication to the NHS and her commitment to improving the lives of people and communities in Dorset.
“Jenni is passionate about identifying and championing innovative solutions. I am grateful for the support she has given to me and our executive team as we have navigated some challenging times in the NHS.”
NHS England’s South West Regional Director Elizabeth O’Mahony said:
“While it’s great to know that the NHS as a whole will continue to benefit from Jenni’s extensive talents, we will really miss her calm, incisive and forward-thinking approach.
“She has not only been a hugely positive force in Dorset, but also across the wider South West, where she has made a material difference for patients, communities and staff.”
Plans to recruit a new Chair for Dorset ICB are underway. Jenni will finish her role with Dorset on 31 March and step across into her new role on 1 April 2025.
