Community Pharmacist Independent Prescriber Engagement Questionnaire

The answers to the questions on this form will be used to populate a voluntary register held by the Community Pharmacy Clinical Lead at NHS Dorset and will also be shared with the Chief Officer at Dorset LPC.  The information will be used for creating a community of practice for Community Pharmacist Independent Prescribers (IP) in Dorset and for consulting with members regarding opportunities for services for IPs in Community Pharmacy.

NHS England South West – Information for Community Pharmacy 

NHS England are making available 10,000 module places which will be delivered by CliniSkills until March 2024.

This exciting new training offer will give community pharmacists the opportunity to build on their existing clinical examination and consultation skills – to assess, treat and manage common health problems.

The training is designed to be complementary to independent prescribing training and can be completed prior to or after independent prescribing training courses.

This offer is available to community pharmacists, including part time staff and locums working in community pharmacy.
