Dorset Diabetes provides support for people across Dorset living with diabetes.
While most patients will receive their main diabetes care from their GP or practice nurse, their Intermediate Diabetes Dietetics Service helps people to control and manage their condition on a day-to-day basis.
Based in clinics around the county, their specialist staff work with patients to improve their knowledge and skills, in order to help prevent both short- and long-term complications from diabetes.
Active Dorset
We are one of 43 active partnerships across England. Active Dorset work collaboratively to create the conditions for an active nation and use the power of sport and physical activity to transform lives. Active Dorset believes it’s important that we take care of our physical and mental wellbeing and physical activity is still one of the best ways of doing this, in ways that work for you.
Active Dorset are building a movement, which gives people from all communities and backgrounds equal opportunities to move more, in a way that works best for them.
